 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Current advice is where possible the practice should avoid face to face contact with patients.  Consequently if appropriate you may be offered a telephone consultation.  Patients where clinically appropriate will be able to see a GP.We ask patients to be understanding in the current unprecedented situation and consider whether their symptoms could be self manged, or advice taken from allied health professionals in the Minor Ailments pharmacy service.  This allows GPs to prioritise their time on patients who are significantly more unwell or complex.  Patients should not attend the Practice to make an appointment and should make contact by telephone only to avoid any potential spread of infection.

 REPEAT PRESCRIPTION DURING CORONAVIRUS

For safety during the Coronavirus outbreak we are asking all patients to nominate a pharmacy for their prescription to go to directly.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY TO ORDER OR COLLECT REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS.  If you already have prescriptions lying waiting to collect you will be asked to wait outside our doors.  Please bear with our staff during this difficult time.  We are all working additional hours to try and meet requests made, but cannot oblige requests for immediate prescriptions or additional supplies.  We need to ensure there is enough medication for all patients.

Access

Greenock Health Centre has disabled access in all patient areas, including waiting rooms and consulting rooms. There are toilet facilities accessible to disabled patients.  Parking spaces for disabled are situated outside the main entrance.
