Translation Services

This practice offers a translator service for those patients who do not have English as their first language. When arranging an appointment please inform the receptionist you require an interpreter and she will be arrange this for you.

Within the practice Dr Sharma speaks Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam and also understands Punjabi and Gujarati. 

For people who are not of hearing, the practice can arrange for a recognised sign language interpreter to come to the practice. When arranging an appointment please inform reception.

It is important for patients to let us know of any communication services required prior to appointment to ensure a high quality standard of care can be provided.

This service is by referral only by the doctor.

New COVID- 19 Registration Process – December 2020

From the 14th of December 2020 patients will have an option to download and complete the registration form from NHS Inform or NHS NSS and will then email their preferred practice with the attached completed registration form. Patients that do not have access to a computer to complete the registration form will be advised to phone the GP practice for an alternative method.  

The practice does not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, class, age, religion, sexual orientation or appearance, disabling or medical condition. It is necessary for the practice to record ethnicity for all our patients in agreement with our contract with  Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board.
